Immortalizing legacies through sculpted art.

We present you this online showcase, thanks to funding provided by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), in addition to our sponsors. Step into our online world with semi-final models of the statues to be installed in Toronto. We honor the enduring legacies of Mathieu Da Costa, John Ware, and Lucie Blackburn through sculpture. These remarkable figures have left an indelible mark on Canadian history and the Black community. Join us as we explore their stories and witness the unveiling of the first life-size statues of their kind, soon to be hosted for public viewing in Toronto. These sculptures embody resilience, creativity, and leadership, reflecting the profound impact of these extraordinary individuals on our shared heritage. Here’s a preview of the potential designs for the upper half of the final statue.
